Alan is famous for his commercial transformation skills and experience, gained from a number of senior executive positions in blue chip companies and seven years of success coaching and consulting in private equity businesses.

ALAN CROWTHER
Alan began advising private equity companies, Bain Capital and Advent International, as an Operations Advisor in 2017, following his work at one of their most successful portfolio companies, Worldpay, where he was SVP of Corporate Business for 5 years. As a member of the UK Board, Alan had responsibility for the full P&L of the business including Sales, Account Management, Partnerships, Technical Support, Operations and Customer Service.
Specifically, Alan has wide skills and experience in commercial transformation, gained in a variety of private and public companies. His work in FinTech company, WorldPay helped to build “the world’s largest start-up” from an RBS divestment into a strong, independent company, that later successfully IPO’d. He won acclaim for turning around the Corporate business from EBITDA decline to sustained double digit growth.




CUSTOMER CENTRICITY
His ‘customer-centricity’ experience is also gained from several senior positions within global blue chip companies in a variety of sectors, including Shell International, Cable & Wireless, and BT Global Services. Alan is also currently an advisor to a global consulting firm, Alix Partners.

After completing full-time education, Alan continued to enjoy studying and gained his Marketing MBA from the Cranfield School of Management, diplomas in Industry Vision from Cambridge University, and Business Innovation from Imperial College, London.
